This program offers classes that will improve your reading, writing, science, social studies, and math skills in order to pass one of the approved high school equivalency exams, GED ® or HiSET ® . Upon passing all exams and completing the Constitution require- ment, you are awarded a State of Illinois High School Diploma. Eligibility Classes are available free of charge, including books, for students who meet the following requirements: • Resident of Illinois 16 years of age or older. • Ages 16 and 17 must provide a letter of withdrawal/separation from their high school. • All students must complete required pre and post tests.
