HURRICANE SEASON IS HERE!
Ready or Not, Here Comes Hurricane
SPORTS TALK: A TOUGH BREAK FOR THE BOLTS A quick word about our beloved Tampa Bay Lightning … it was another short playoff run this year. The Panthers got us again. Between poor defensive zone puck handling, an underperforming defense, and a power play that looked like it was on vacation, things didn’t come together for a deep postseason run. The GM and coach need to shake things up — big time — or next season might look a lot like this one. FAMILY MILESTONE: AINSLEY’S GRADUATION As you’ll see in this month’s photo, we are thrilled to celebrate Ainsley’s recent graduation from the University of South Florida with a master’s degree in Accountancy and Analytics. Next up? Passing multiple CPA exams and beginning her career as an auditor at Deloitte this fall. Melanie and I could not be prouder! We’re excited to see where her knowledge and work ethic will take her next. FATHER’S DAY REFLECTIONS Last month, we celebrated moms. This month, it’s all about dads ! To all the dads out there: Happy Father’s Day! Your love, hard work, and sacrifices don’t go unnoticed; not just today, but every day. To my own dad: Thank you for giving me the opportunity to join the family business. Your support and encouragement have been the foundation of everything I’ve accomplished. Until next month …
Can you believe it’s already hurricane season again? It feels like it’s only been six months since the end of last year’s devastating season; the time has just blown by (pun intended).

Have you finalized your hurricane plan? Have you purchased your supplies yet?
Please don’t wait until the first storm is headed our way. Get prepared now , while items are easy to find and store shelves are still full. Last year reminded us all how tough it can be if we’re caught unprepared. FLORIDA INSURANCE UPDATES As I write this, the Florida Legislature is still in session. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much good news on the insurance front. One potential bright spot? A bill offering some relief for condo owners appears to be making its way to the governor’s desk. Whether it’s signed and what the final details include remains to be seen. Hang tight; we’ll keep you posted.

A FATHER’S DAY TRIBUTE TO ALL THE AMAZING FATHERS IN OUR LIVES
RONALD VERMOST (Darren Vermost’s Father)
He loved his family and faith more than anything, and instilled those values in his eight children and dozens of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He always made sure to remind his kids to “make deposits in the memory bank!” OMER LE BLANC (Christine Earle’s Father) My dad was my superhero growing up, and I was 100% a daddy’s girl. As the baby of five kids, my dad had special nicknames for all of us — mine was "Baby Doll." He worked as a truck driver for many years, retiring at 52 after becoming legally blind. Despite being blind in one eye, he never let it hold him back. He was a joyful, outgoing man who loved telling jokes and visiting with people. Music was a big part of his life. At 19, he bought a guitar and developed a deep love for classic country music. Some of my fondest memories are of our family sitting together on the porch during thunderstorms, my dad strumming his guitar and singing while my mom played the accordion. Those evenings were pure magic, filled with music and laughter. Though he always dreamed of visiting the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, he never had the chance to make that trip. My dad passed away in 2005, and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss him terribly. PEDRO RIVERA (Mary Rivera’s Father) Dad, We lost you too soon. Who knew that YOU were the glue of our family unit? You taught me about God, what love is, how a man is supposed to treat a woman, how to salsa dance, and an incredible work ethic.
Til I see you again! I love you, Mary
My dad has always been there for us. Whether it was coaching Little League baseball, driving

us to wrestling matches, fixing our cars, building things around the house, or running his business, he did it all without ever missing a beat. He always made sure we came first, even if it meant working late into the night after games or sacrificing his weekends. He set a high standard, always working hard and showing up for our family. That standard has guided me throughout my life. My brother and I were lucky to have that example, and we've always strived to live up to it and even go beyond it. Thank you, Dad, for everything! For the love, the lessons, and all the opportunities you gave me. JAMES O’BRIEN (Maryanne and John O’Brien’s Father) James “Jim” O’Brien was the father of both Commercial Lines agent Maryanne O’Brien and Personal Lines agent John O’Brien. Jim became an insurance agent in the mid- 50s and is responsible for three generations of insurance professionals. He retired at age 55 in 1983 and moved his family to Florida, where he was eventually called back to service as a claims liaison in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in 1992. He was a proud veteran of WW2 and the Korean War, serving as a paratrooper. Just before he passed, he received a hero’s welcome as a member of Mission 35 of the Honor Flight of West Central Florida. He was an Olympic-caliber diver out of Syracuse University before joining the military.
been my first best friend, my protector, and my greatest inspiration. I’ve always been a daddy’s girl — and I always will be. He’s the one who taught me the joy of singing Beatles songs at the top of my lungs, the thrill of talking about the big game, and the simple magic of turning everyday ingredients into the best meals you’ll ever taste. He’s a master at making something out of nothing, in the kitchen and life. Some of my favorite memories are our Monday rituals — stopping by 7-Eleven for Slurpees and sour gummy worms — little traditions that felt like our secret adventures. Whether he was driving me to skating lessons, dance classes, or piano practices, he never missed a beat, always making sure I felt supported and loved. My dad taught me what it means to live fully, love fiercely, and never lose your spark. I’m endlessly grateful for our bond, and I can only hope to be half as strong, kind, and selfless as he is. Happy Father's Day to the man who has always had my back and loved me without limits. I love you, Dad. MICHAEL REICHOLD
(Dawn Evans’ Father) Michael was a man who always put his family first. He would do whatever it took
to provide for his loved ones, even if it meant working long hours or enduring the physical toll of his job. He loved his children and grandchildren

unconditionally and would do anything for them. Truly, he was a jack of all trades. Michael’s legacy lives on through the lessons he passed down to his family. His example of hard work, selflessness, and kindness continues to inspire those he left behind. In a time when absentee fathers are all too common, Michael was the exact opposite. He was always there, whether he was needed or not, with unwavering love and support. If someone needed something, he would move mountains to help or find someone who could. His granddaughters carry his lessons forward: • Kendra shares, “My grandpa always reminded me that he loved me and taught me to love myself, no matter what.” • Caitlin adds, “My grandpa has shown me how to love unconditionally, no matter what you’re going through in life. I’ve learned from him how to make the most out of a situation, always finding a way to add a little humor and light.” Though Michael is no longer with us, his love, strength, and unwavering dedication remain a guiding light for his family. His impact is felt every day, and his memory continues to inspire those who knew and loved him. DAWN EVANS’ MOTHER’S DAY TRIBUTE Cathy (Mom/Daughter) — Left (Blue) Cathy is a caring friend, devoted daughter, loving mother, and doting grandma. She is a hardworking, compassionate soul who has always been there for her family and community. Whether she’s helping a neighbor in need or offering support to her children and grandchildren, Cathy leads by example. She has taught us the importance of valuing those around us and respecting their feelings. Above all, she has shown me how to love unconditionally, even when others may not always act as we would hope. Great Grandma/Grandma/Mom (Arlene) — Middle (Flower Shirt) Arlene led by example, embodying the spirit of service and compassion. She was the one people turned to for help, always ready to give of herself to coworkers, friends, family, and even strangers. Through her storytelling, she brought joy and comfort, offering laughter when it was needed most. She taught her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren the power of connection and the importance of being there for one another, even when time and distance separate us. Arlene loved her family deeply, standing by them through every season of life.
THRIVE IN THE THRILLS A Family Guide to Theme Park Fun
Going to a theme park is one of the most memorable ways to spend a family vacation. Theme parks are full of excitement, but they can also be overwhelming — especially with young kids in tow. The right game plan can turn a day of long lines and potential meltdowns into a fun, memorable adventure. PLAN SMART, PLAY HARD. Rather than simply packing up and heading to the park, take some time to research and plan your trip. Look into show schedules and ride restrictions, such as height limits, ahead of time so you can plan your day. Many parks also have mobile apps to track wait times and order food. Visit the most popular attractions early before the crowds swell. Visiting on weekdays or during off-peak seasons also helps avoid long lines to maximize your family’s fun. REMEMBER SNACKS, DRINKS, AND SUN PROTECTION. Theme park restaurants can be expensive and busy. If you plan to dine in the park, make reservations to avoid wasting precious time in long lines. If allowed, pack your own lunch to save time and money. It’s also wise to carry reusable water bottles to keep the family hydrated without breaking the bank on expensive bottled water. If visiting a park during summer, don’t forget the sun protection. Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and breathable clothing are a must when walking all day in the heat. Taking a few minutes for a midday break in a shaded area or at an indoor show will help the family recharge for the rest of the visit. KEEP EXPECTATIONS FLEXIBLE AND FUN. Even with careful planning, things won’t always work out like you hope — expect ride closures, long lines, and cranky kids. Creating a list of backup attractions or activities can help you easily pivot if Plan A doesn’t work out. And don’t try to see everything in one visit. Trying to hit every ride can backfire and make the trip miserable. Often, the best memories happen in unexpected moments. A little structure mixed with flexibility can lead to a lot of fun and ensure your family’s theme park adventure is about making memories rather than managing stress.
