season. We also held a social event, where dancers and community members participated in springtime dances and planting/harvesting dances.

An unintended outcome of this work is the emergence of community leaders and champions. They have stepped up and shared their ideas and have found their passion projects. Some of these passion projects include creating pollinator habitats, working with local youth, and providing outreach at community events. We will continue to foster this environment of leadership and build more community champions.
