Ashley & Gonzalo Guerra GEORGIA A Dedicated Focus on Others

the magnitude of the leadership. We realized we were just a small piece of the puzzle. It really made me grateful for the opportunity to be a part of The Wellness Company. And when Frank VanderSloot said, ‘Welcome home,’ it had me in all kinds of tears.” In 2019, the Guerras just missed qualifying for the trip to Hawaii, so when the company-wide Fast Track was announced earlier this year, they knew they had to go all in. “It’s about accountability and treating this like a business not a hobby,” Ashley says. “Every single day you have to do something to build your business, because you don’t want to show up on the daily team call with nothing to share.” The Guerras understand that life happens, but they still keep working no matter what. So on May 12, 2017, their wedding anniversary, they took another plunge and became Marketing Executives. “I barely knew my own name because I had six kids and wasn’t sleeping through the night, but I was excited,” Ashley explains. “I loved that we didn’t have to ask anyone for any kind of startup fee. There was no financial burden for them to get started.” And while the Guerras enjoyed some initial success, true belief in themselves and in the way Melaleuca operates didn’t come until they attended Road to Executive Director. “I guess I was just tiptoeing before that,” Ashley explains. “At Road, we got to see

“We’re definitely going to grow old with this company,” Ashley says. “And our kids can’t wait to become Marketing Executives. We have some future entrepreneurs on our hands.”
