EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS 2 ADVANCEMENTS NEW

Stephanie & Kevin Merriweather FLORIDA Four Maxims for Success

support of Jefferson Green and his enrollers National Directors Alan and Heather Guzzino, Kevin has pulled through multiple flat spots to achieve goal after goal. Underscoring every element of Kevin’s business development is the cardinal principle of maintaining a can-do attitude, especially when encountering flat spots. “When I hit every flat spot, I realized that I could enroll my way out of that flat spot,” Kevin says. “It also takes a mental decision. So the first thing I had to do was mentally decide that I was ready to start actively enrolling and actively seeking new Preferred Members and Marketing Executives.” “Make the Mental Decision” is the first of a four-part maxim Kevin shares when helping others navigate their way through flat spots. The other three are “Build the Belief,” “Take Massive Action,” and “See the Results.” “Once I made the decision, I knew I had to get around the fire again and build my belief, because if you don’t believe, then you’re not going to be as effective,” Kevin admonishes. “You must wholeheartedly believe that we have the answer and that we’re a viable solution for what consumers are shopping for right now—and into the future—by providing in-home delivery, better-quality products, and an opportunity for individuals to build a business from the comfort of their homes.” Regaining momentum can take some time, but by patiently putting into practice Kevin’s four maxims, along with the Seven Critical Business-Building Activities, success is a natural result.

After enthusiastically embarking on their Melaleuca business-building journey in 2017, they experienced healthy momentum early on, but then growth began to slow. “We came in guns a-blazin’,” says Kevin as he reflects on those early days. “We experienced initial success, but then we started to lose focus.” Not one to sit idly hoping for things to change, Kevin refocused and regrouped his efforts. His reboot strategy included participating in Fast Track and identifying an accountability partner—or what he calls a “building buddy.” For Kevin, his building buddy was Corporate Director 4 Jefferson Green. “We literally checked in every day and bounced ideas off each other,” says Kevin. “Find a building buddy. Someone who can help hold you accountable. Someone who’s going to stretch you a little bit. Someone who’s going to challenge you. Someone who isn’t going to be down when you’re down.” Kevin understands that surrounding yourself with the right people is paramount to establishing sustained success. Beginning with his wife, Stephanie, who he says strikes the perfect balance in their business, and extending to the guiding

“I built belief in myself and then took massive action and started enrolling,” Kevin says. “It took a while, but I got back into the groove.”
