Accede™ Plant Growth Regulator: Thin Smarter. Not Harder. NEW Accede™ Plant Growth Regulator Liquid Concentrate is the first of its kind chemical thinner registered for use on peaches/nectarines. Trials have demonstrated that an application of Accede to peaches/ nectarines during the period from bloom to petal fall will reduce fruit set and reduce, but not eliminate, the need for hand thinning. A second application of Accede can further reduce fruit set to provide additional reductions in hand thinning labor.

Accede Peach and Nectarine Thinning Program Accede can be applied between pink bud and petal fall to reduce fruit set of peaches/nectarines. When using a single application, targeting between 50% and 100% open bloom is recommended. If two sequential applications are planned, make the first application when the entire tree is at the pink bud stage or later, followed by a second application 7 to 10 days after the initial application, prior to the end of petal fall.
