King's Business - 1966-11

T HE This year 250,000 girls in the U.S. will face the emotionally shat tering experience of being pregnant out of wedlock. It’s one thing for Christians to shake their fingers at them, quite another to hold oüt a helping hand. This girl, desperate for help, turns to Rev. Raymond Ortlund, pastor of the Lake Avenue Congregational Church in Pasadena, California.

After learning that the girl cannot possibly keep her baby, Pastor Ortlund calls the only Protestant, state-licensed adoption agency in the West which guarantees placement of adopted babies with loving Christian parents —the Evangelical Welfare Agency.
