Presidio® Fungicide
Targeted chemistry that protects tobacco threatened by black shank, Pythium root rot and blue mold. For black shank control, apply as a post-transplant, soil-directed spray at layby or at 1st cultivation. For resistance management, do not make sequential applications of Presidio . Do not make more than three total
applications per year. Labeled rate: 4 fl oz/A.
REI: 12 hours. PHI: 7 days (for blue mold only). Presidio is not labeled for use in California.
Belay® Insecticide
Aphids, flea beetles, tobacco budworm, tobacco hornworm
Apply when target pest(s) threshold populations are observed. Do not wait until population beyond threshold has been established. Labeled rate range: 3–4 fl oz/A. REI: 12 hours. PHI: 14 days. Kills worms in tobacco to protect quality and yield. Outstanding crop safety and approved for export globally. Scout plants and fields to make application when eggs are hatching and/or when larvae are small before pest economic thresholds have been exceeded. See label for details on applications to stored tobacco. Labeled rate range: 0.5–1 lb/A. REI: 4 hours. PHI: 0 days. A highly selective insecticide for use against larvae of Lepidopterous insects (caterpillars and worms). Treat when eggs are hatching and when larvae are young before economic thresholds of damage have been exceeded. Repeat applications at an interval sufficient to maintain control, usually 3 to 7 days. Labeled rate range: 0.5–2 pt/A. REI: 4 hours. DiPel ES is not labeled for use in California on tobacco. Aids in inhibiting mixed function oxidative resistance in insects. Raises level of control by increasing insect susceptibility to insecticides. Labeled rate range: 2–8 fl oz/A. REI: 12 hours.
