Count on Release LC-Treated Seed for Maximum Performance Using seed treated with Release LC helps get the most out of every acre planted. Whether it is to get an early start to the season or to plant a little deeper, Release LC helps seed perform better under a wider variety of conditions. And a strong start means greater potential for a strong finish. How Does Release LC Work? Not all seeds have the same capacity to germinate and emerge from the soil. Release LC helps overcome factors such as genetic variability or the natural aging process by stimulating enzymes in the seed. These enzymes convert stored starch into usable energy needed for germination and emergence. How To Use (for seed conditioners) Release LC Rate 0.5–3 fl oz/100 lb of seed How To Use (for growers) Plant Release LC-treated seed based on the recommended seeding rate given by the seed supplier for the location it will be grown. No special considerations are required for use beyond normal seed handling practices. Other Important Information Applicators and other handlers must wear long-sleeved shirt and long pants, chemical-resistant gloves (such as barrier laminate, butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, polyvinyl chloride or viton), shoes plus socks, and protective eyewear Do not apply Release LC prior to a 24-hour presoak or to water used for the presoak

Effect on Soybean Yield When Phytotoxicity is Observed Growers using preemergence PPO herbicides may experience low levels of phytotoxicity when cool and wet conditions are present during emergence. Crop injury may appear troublesome when first observed, however soybean plants recover quickly and demonstrate strong yield results (see charts below). In most cases yield is not affected, and growers may actually experience an increase in yield with Fierce® Herbicide over competitive PPO herbicides, due to the superior weed control provided by Fierce .
