STUDENT LEADERSHIP Flourishing at HCA
Kindness Council, 1-5 Kindness Council is comprised of students who have been given the Daniel Esther award. These students demonstrate servant leadership with their classmates and a desire to follow Jesus.
MS Student Council, 6-8 MS Student Council serves the MS student body by planning events that build community, organizing service opportunities, recognizing each student's birthday, and cleaning the hallway daily. We hope that these opportunities develop godly leadership skills in its members.
Ambassadors, 9-12 HCA Student Ambassadors represent Jesus Christ and the core tenants of HCA to the student body primarily, and secondarily to staff, visitors of HCA, and the larger community while helping foster these tenants in the lives of others.
National Honor Society, 11-12 NHS is an invitation-only honor for students committed to scholarship and excellence. NHS focuses on growing Christ-like character, scholarship, leadership, and service with a purpose of contributing to the broader local community.
HS Student Council, 9-12 HS Student Council works alongside faculty, administration, and the student body to enhance the overall HCA experience, serve the families of HCA, foster unity and leadership within the school community, and develop Christian leadership characteristics among its members.
At HCA, our student leadership initiatives foster an environment where students can develop Christian character through teamwork, cooperation, communication, problem-solving, empathy, navigation of diverse perspectives, and accountability. HCA student leaders enhance the Charger community by building culture, passion, and grit. Students flourish with leadership opportunities that feed their individual growth as well as their future roles as community leader-servants. STEPHEN SPRAGUE Dean of Students, Upper Campus
