About WCN Wisconsin Christian News represents a cooper- ative effort by active Christians from all walks of life. In our pages and on our website, you will find Infor- mation, Education and Inspiration, with a majority of the articles written by members of our “WCN Fam- ily” of contributors. There is something of interest to every member of the family. We hope you are blessed and become a regular reader. WCN seeks, at all times, to publish the TRUTH, regardless of “political correctness,” standing up for America’s historical Christian heritage and urging a return to biblical, moral standards. We offer very thought-provoking commentary, inspired teach- ing, real life testimonies, world, national, state and regional news, plus advice and information from experts in their areas of business and ministry -- all in the various sections of our 48-page newspa- per. In addition to providing valuable content to the Christian community, we focus equally on reach- ing those who are lost and seeking, and those who may have been alienated from church as an institution in the past. You’ll find WCN on the racks in the lobbies of grocery stores, family restaurants, shopping centers and malls and most Christian book stores. Of course, you can also find a copy at many of our “Ministry Partner” advertisers’ business and ministry locations. This is our outreach to the mar- ketplace, and we receive many wonderful testi- monies from people who have found the Lord for the first time, or returned to Him, after many years away, after finding our newspaper in a public place. Our Doctrinal Statement • There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. • Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was

• The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all na- tions. The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life; for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment. • The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and pre-mil- lennial. This is the believer’s blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service. All viewpoints expressed in Wisconsin Christian News are those of the authors and do not nec- essarily represent the viewpoint of the publishers. conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross, the just for the unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. He died, was buried and arose from the dead ac- cording to the Scriptures. He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest. He will come again to establish His kingdom of right- eousness and peace. • The Holy Spirit is sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer, and convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. • The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as origi- nally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice. • Man was originally created in the image and like- ness of God; he fell through disobedience, incurring, thereby, both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, are separated from the love of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. • Salvation has been made available through Jesus Christ for all men; those who repent and be- lieve in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God. • It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. This is both a crisis and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion. • Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the mor- tal body. Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the church in the present age.

Noxious Weeds and Black Mold

By Rob Pue Summer 2025

not growing where we want it to.” But this isn’t just about how your drive- way, your home, your community and our nation “looks.” It’s about the con- stant assault on the very foundation of our sanity — and more importantly, it’s about allowing the laws of nature and nature’s God to be spat upon, de- spised, ridiculed and pridefully mocked. Do you value your home? If you knew the foundation of your home was cracked, broken and deteriorat- ing, and soon your whole house would come tumbling down, you’d find a way to get it repaired as soon as possible. If you had black mold growing inside your walls, now spreading to even the outside of your walls and ceilings and making every- one in your home sick, you wouldn’t “tolerate” it, you’d eliminate that deadly fungus. Well, our foundations are crumbling. Our children are deathly ill from the mental confusion foisted upon them by those in author- ity. Yet most remain complacent and disinterested — and some even help this weed, this mold, this fungus, this disease — to spread and thrive. Even otherwise perfectly sane people have now caught this “woke mind virus” and their consciences have been seared. While most of us still don’t participate personally in this “death- style,” it’s now become normalized, and we’ve legislated unspeakable im- morality. Continued on Page 7

There are many things in this world I will just never understand. For ex- ample, how is it that I can’t seem to grow a simple patch of grass in my back yard no matter what I do? I can prepare the soil, plant a variety of grass seed, fertilize it, water it, fence it off to avoid traffic, nurture it for months, and yet still end up with a barren patch of dirt. Meanwhile, the tiniest crack in the concrete of my driveway will yield a steady crop of healthy grass and weeds, no matter what I do to stop it. It laughs at my use of weed killer, dig- ging it out by the roots, and filling the crack with fresh concrete. In a day or two, the grass and weeds spring up again, mocking me; saying derisively, “you can’t stop me!” One time, in a desperate attempt to grow something in my backyard dirt patch, I pulled some of those driveway weeds out of the cracks by the roots and carefully transplanted them to the back yard. If they can survive weed killer, no water, no soil, no care — and me, an avowed enemy — surely, they could grow in a well nur- tured bald spot. “Nope,” it said, “I’m not going to cooperate with you.” Go figure. I’ll never understand it and have resolved myself to the mad- dening reality of the situation. Now here we are...summertime in Wiscon- sin again. My backyard bald spot is still bald and my driveway weed

pulling is a weekly chore. But if all I did was curse those weeds — if I didn’t pull them out by the roots — and if I wasn’t diligent to do so steadily, they’d take over the whole driveway in no time, spreading like a cancer. But there’s a much more dangerous and insidious weed flourishing all across our nation, which is most ac- tive in summer, but thrives all year long. This is a hideous and invasive weed of unspeakable sin, debauchery, perversion, child abuse, mental ill- ness and pride. It began sprouting up through the cracks in the concrete jungles of our cities, in back alley ways and private clubs. Today, it flourishes in all areas of government, in our schools, and even our

churches.

It invades our entire atmosphere. It disguises itself in pretty rainbow col- ors, but if we were to see it as it actu- ally is, we’d see the truth — that it’s not just a weed, but rather, an inva- sive black mold, climbing the walls of our homes, schools and churches, embedding itself deep into the fabric of our society and infecting the hearts, minds and souls of our young peo- ple....causing them to do unspeakable things to their own bodies. Most people today have simply given up the fight against this “Creeping Charlie” invasion. While acknowl- edging that it is, indeed, a weed, they have resolved themselves to the no- tion that “a weed is just a flower that’s

proud to pray to the God that made us! “It behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our na- tional sins, and to pray for clemency and for- giveness.” It was 121 years later, on August 23, 1984, when President Ronald Reagan spoke at a Dallas Prayer Breakfast. He said, “Without God, there is no virtue, because there is no prompting of the conscience. Without God, we’re mired in the material, that flat world that tells us only what our senses can per- ceive. Without God, there is a coarsening of society. And without God, democracy will not and cannot long endure. If we ever forget that we’re one nation under God, then we will be

VCY America Summer 2025

America celebrates Inde- pendence Day on the Fourth of July. We think of July 4, 1776, as a day that repre- sents the Declaration of In- dependence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation. But July 4, 1776 wasn’t

the day that the Continental Congress decided to declare independence. That happened July 2, 1776. Nor was it the day we started the American Revolu- tion. That occurred in 1775. Nor was it the day Thomas Jefferson wrote the first draft of the Declaration of Independence. That was in June 1776. Nor was it the date on which the Declaration was de- livered to Great Britain. That didn’t happen until later in 1776. Nor was it the date the Declaration was signed. That was August 2, 1776. So, what did happen on July 4, 1776? It was on July 4th that the Continental Congress ap- proved the final wording of the Declaration of Inde- pendence. They’d been working on it for a couple of days after the hard-worked draft was submitted on July 2nd and finally agreed July 4th on all of the edits and changes. July 4, 1776, became the date that was included on the Declaration of Independence, and the fancy hand- written copy now on display was signed in August. So, when people thought of the Declaration of Independ- ence, July 4, 1776 was the date they remembered. In 1776, those living in the colonies were outraged at the control that England held over them. This Decla- ration laid out carefully their grievances and reasons for breaking away from Great Britain. In all, there were fifty-six signers who were represen- tatives from the thirteen colonies. Their ages ranged from 26 (Edward Rutledge) to 70 (Benjamin Franklin), but the majority were in their thirties and forties. To- gether they mutually pledged their Lives, their Fortunes and their Sacred Honor. They were mostly well-off men who had much to lose if the war was lost. Nearly all of them were poorer at the end of the war than at the be-

ginning. A Constitution and Bill of Rights were later drafted providing us the framework for the freedoms we treas- ure today. America, at its birth, acknowledged and reverenced God. Leaders were not ashamed to honor God in po- litical bodies, in the nation’s schools, in textbooks, in print media, in churches, and in their homes. Alle- giance to God was naturally assumed. With all of this blessing it should shame us that we have gotten far off course in the relatively short time that we’ve been a na- tion. Psalm 33:12, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” Our nation is blessed. We are a land of plenty, rich in minerals and natural resources, farmland and pro- duce. We have advanced technology, comfortable living and a system of government than none can rival. We are blessed with freedoms that others in the world can only dream. Our nation was less than 100 years old when the Civil War ensued. On March 30, 1863 Abraham Lincoln in- cluded Psalm 33:12 in a Proclamation appointing a “National Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer.” In it he warned, “But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and mul- tiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbro- ken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too

a nation gone under!” Today we once again display the marks of a nation that has forgotten God. Our national leaders are at hostile odds with each another, at odds with morality, at odds with our Constitutional Republic and at odds with the rule of law. Before we point fingers, let us re- member that it is “we the people” who have placed them into office. As a nation, we have drifted from God’s Word. We have killed nearly 67 million babies in the name of “choice.” Our country has distorted the biblical defini- tion of marriage, male and female. Sin, lawlessness and rebellion are on full display. Many churches strug- gle to stay together. Sadly Romans 1:18-32 describes our nation today. Not only is there a downward slide in morals and val- ues, but also our society has a growing hate and intol- erance toward Christianity, morality, decency and respect. It is the direction of the people that determine the course of the nation. It is up to believers to humble ourselves, pray, seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways. National forgiveness can only come by national repentance. Our nation has turned its back on God, and must turn to Him. But rather than indict others, we must look internally. Are we living our lives in such a way that brings honor to the Lord or do we bring shame to His name? It is necessary for us as individuals, as fam- ilies, as churches, and as a nation to return to God! Proverbs 14:34, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” VCY.org

to reveal to the American public that the founders of our country never intended that Almighty God, as un- derstood by Christian religion, was to be excluded from the public governance and education of our republic. Washington’s statement alone proves the farce of thinking that a hard line between separation of church and state was envisioned by our founders, even those with a disdain for miracles related in the Bible and other theological doctrines like heaven and hell, the

Is India hateful because it is predominantly Hindu, and understands itself that way? Are Buddhists auto- matically bigots because they live in countries that are predominantly Buddhist? Of course not. The idea of Washington and others of the founding era is that we are to be a Christian nation, and that notion in no way implied then, nor implies now, contempt for other coun- tries that do not so identify. Christianity as understood was tolerant of non-Christian views, but non-Christian

In October 1789, President George Washington is- sued a thanksgiving proclamation “to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor….” This proclamation was thus not merely a self-congratulation whereby the President and others applauded themselves for creating a new

government provided by our Constitution. At that point, we were transitioning from the Arti- cles of Confederation which had neither three distinct branches of government nor the idea of federalism embodied in its or- ganization. Would the new Constitution work? Would the misgivings of some leaders prove to be legitimate? In an- swer to these questions the proclamation expressed its re- liance on the providence of Almighty God, not on a self-con- scious and presumptuous self- confidence of those who created the Constitution. De- spite the learning and brilliance of many of the Constitution’s promoters (think particularly of

views could not be the basis for our laws — because natural law was the basis of morality and the laws of nature and man were established by Almighty God. This was part of William Blackstone’s founda- tional theory in establishing modern English law, and it car- ried over through enlighten- ment theories of knowledge advanced by John Locke, and, it might surprise some readers, even by Thomas Hobbes. Please throw out the non- thinking of Hegelian and/or Marxist dialectic where the views of the founders of our country had their day, but by dialectical processes, the

the vision and skills of James Madison, the key figure in its writing), Washington determined to put the suc- cess of the venture in the hands of Almighty God. He understood that true thankfulness and radical humility go hand in hand. But Washington did not stop there. In an almost ec- static frame of mind, he goes on to speak of God as a “great and glorious Being” and “Author of all that is good.” Are these really phrases to induce a type of radical self-hypnosis? Are these words, as the Marx- ists might claim, simply manipulative phrases to hyp- notize the people into accepting exploitation by a powerful class? Were these phrases stunning verbal drugs that were and are “the opiate of the people?” He then goes on not to congratulate those who cre- ated or promoted this Constitution, but to admit the sin- fulness of the men who have presented it and voted it into existence. He inserts a plea that our transgres- sions (sins) be pardoned, acknowledging thereby that there must be errors in the document which come from the limitations and biases of those involved with cre- ating it and offering it to the several states. Lastly, he emphasizes the four-fold goal of our Con- stitution. It will (1) promote knowledge, (2) promote “true religion and virtue,” (3) increase science, and (4) “enhance…temporal prosperity.” Thus, the goal was not to promote Christianity per se, but that virtue, under a Christian umbrella of beliefs of a variety of sects and denominations, would promote the progress in science and prosperity that the Constitutional Con- vention wanted to expand under the new rules of gov- ernance. Ministries such as D. James Kennedy Ministries and other groups have been advancing documents like Washington’s proclamation of thanksgiving for years

Trinity, or the necessity of baptism.

monarchical systems of Christianity which were over- thrown by the bourgeois Christianity of the founders are now being overturned by Rousseau’s General Will with all of its cultural Marxist and woke tweaks. The foul smell of collectivism and a grossly materialistic conception of the world order is everywhere. Perverse rejection of the moral law is not only widespread, but in many centers of education and power, is considered more moral than Judeo-Christian, i.e., Biblical, moral- ity. There is no such thing as dialectical materialism gov- erning the evolution of countries! The reality is that God’s providence is in control of the so-called progress of history as we move prophetically toward judgment and the rule of Christ. May we give thanks that a man of this caliber and righteousness was our first Presi- dent who led us against overwhelming odds to grasp the originating intentions of our “great experiment.” May we bow down in thanksgiving to a holy God who calls us to exquisite and profitable worship of His Holy Name. And may each one of us increasingly realize how much we have to be thankful for.

“Separation,” as in “separation of church and state,” merely means that no specific Christian religion will be established and deemed as official, and thus will not be supported by taxation. It does not mean that there is a hard and fast line between progress in science or prosperity and belief in holy living before a holy God, biblical moral uprightness, or the divinity of Christ. There would be a variety of approaches to the various doctrinal issues in Christianity, but all of them together represented a legitimate commitment to godliness that was compatible with and essential for the entire enter- prise of governance. In this sense, individual conscience was to be rec- ognized. One’s belonging to this or that Christian de- nomination was and is a matter of personal choice based on one’s conscience. It was never the belief of the founders that individual “conscience” could or would try to legitimate atheism or Buddhism or Islam as being just as valid for the USA as Christianity simply because we believed in “freedom of religion.” This lib- erty of conscience was to be Christian, and despite that overall identity, would not lead to a partisan nation despising of other belief systems. People with other, non-spiritual commitments would be welcome, but their presence would not deny the upholding of Christian theology as the

Noah’s Ark: New Clues Emerge

By Frederick Andrew Wolf, Jr. Summer 2025

man-made boat, consistent with the biblical speci- fications of Noah’s Ark.” Excitement around the project grew following a series of promising soil analyses. Turkish geologist Dr. Memet Salih Bayraktutan collected 22 samples from both the interior and exterior of a boat-shaped geological formation. The samples were sent to Atatürk University in Erzurum for analysis — the results were extraordinary. “We found evidence consistent with the decompo-

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) assessment of the site using the technique of dual frequencies to map various depths beneath the surface — the soil was left undisturbed. The use of GPR technology — which sends elec- tromagnetic waves below the surface and captures reflections bouncing back from subsurface struc- tures — revealed rectangular shapes buried approx- imately 22 feet beneath the formation. A geophysicist unrelated to the research team

To most observers, the parched, desert-like land- scape in eastern Turkey may seem unremarkable, even inhospitable. But that’s not the case if you be- lieve you’re looking at the resting place of a leg- endary vessel — Noah’s Ark. After years of painstaking research and prepara- tion, a team of scientists is now on the verge of an archaeological excavation at a site believed by many

later reviewed the data and identi- fied what appeared to be a long cor- ridor leading to a central chamber — indicating the presence of large in- ternal cavities. More than a biblical tale While Noah’s Ark holds deep reli- gious significance in Christianity and Judaism, researchers are just as intrigued by its broader human significance — issues about human survival, resilience, and faith in the face of catastrophic upheaval. The presence of embedded organic materials within the soil suggests the site may once have been sub- merged — possibly lending credibil- ity to various ancient flood narratives like that of the Sumerian

to be the final resting place of the Ark mentioned in the Hebrew Scrip- tures – the Christian Old Testament. Promising discoveries Researchers working at a site in Turkey known as the Durupinar Formation uncovered a “tunnel” lo- cated under a boat-shaped forma- tion, which matches the Biblical description of Noah’s Ark. The site is only 18 miles from Mount Ararat, which has long been rumored to have been the final destination of the craft. The Durupinar area has drawn the interest of archaeologists since the late 1940s, when the outline of the boat-like structure was first ex- posed. Still, there have been no aca-

sition of wood,” researchers explained. “Organic matter was found to be double inside the formation compared to the surrounding soil,” said soil scientist William Crabtree. “…potassium levels, organic matter, and pH can all be affected by the de- composition of organic materials. If this was a wooden vessel and the wood had rotted over time, we would expect to see increased potassium levels, changes in pH, and higher organic content — and that’s exactly what we find.” They explained that pH levels within the interior of the structure were significantly lower than out- side, and the interior contained higher concentra- tions of organic matter. Moreover, potassium levels were higher inside the formation — another clue pointing toward decayed wooden material. A further relevant observation was the seasonal

Epic of Gilgamesh. A theory with more evidence

demically sanctioned excavations. Critics have long contended that the Durupinar is merely a geological formation, yet considering the new evidence, the re- searchers believe the area warrants official scientific exploration. “We’re not expecting something that’s fully pre- served,” lead researcher Andrew Jones said. “What’s left is the chemical imprint, pieces of wood, and in the ground, the shape of a hull.” Jones and his colleagues detected angular struc- tures running as deep as 20 feet underground, something they believe would be unlikely were the mass anything but a man-made vessel. “This is not what you’d expect to see if the site were simply a solid block of rock or the result of ran- dom mudflow debris,” Jones explained. “But it is ex- actly what you’d expect to find if this were a

While the theory remains speculative among many, the idea that ancient civilizations may have experienced and survived a deluge such as the “Great Flood” continues to captivate scholars and historians. In Genesis chapters 6 through 9, the Scriptures reveal how God, dismayed by humanity’s wicked- ness, chose to cleanse the world with a flood — sparing only the righteous Noah, his family, and pairs of animals aboard a massive ark he was com- manded to build. “We’re planning to collect core samples from throughout the formation,” Jones said. “That will help us verify whether the angular shapes and geo- metric patterns we’ve observed in the radar scans are the result of human design or natural forma- tions.” So far, findings have continued to support the re- searchers’ working hypothesis: that the formation is not merely part of the surrounding mudflow but a distinct, man-made structure. The researchers want to compare what’s inside the formation to what’s outside, because that could give them a much clearer picture of whether this is truly something engineered by humankind. Whether or not this turns out to be the Ark of Noah, the investigation has created a firestorm of interest in one of humanity’s most enduring epics – perhaps this intrepid team of scientists will elicit the truth that many believe was part of God’s plan for us.

By now you should know I’m talking about the abomination of the LGBTQP+ cult. The demon of homo- sexuality has been preying upon mankind since the fall, but it was al- ways rare — and not so long ago, con- sidered a mental illness. But the demons have discovered a myriad of ways to evangelize and recruit others — especially young people — into their hedonism. Studies from two years ago showed that 67% of regular church goers believed that same-sex so-called “marriage” was a perfectly valid “alternative lifestyle” and should be legally recognized and affirmed. I would guess that number is even higher today. In 1999, Bill Clinton declared June to be “Gay & Lesbian Pride Month.” In 2009, Obama added “Bisexual” and “Transgenderism” to the celebration. Today, there are “Pride” festivals, pa- rades and celebrations in just about every town and city in America, and worldwide during the month of June. And the things that take place at these events should shame us all...yet we celebrate them. The size and scope of these parades and festivals far sur- pass even those of the 4th of July. I have some experience with this. For several years, I attended the “pride” parade in Columbus, Ohio. I went there with a small group of Chris- tians to witness to the lost souls in the parade and in the massive crowds. With few exceptions, our efforts were futile. As should be expected, we were always viciously attacked. Our message could not be heard because the sodomites — and their allies — would blow trumpets, bang on drums, and yell and scream like demons so we could not be heard. They’d put bullhorns up to our ears and scream obscenities to us until we were deaf. We were punched and kicked, spat upon, shoved, pushed to the ground. Signs we held were ripped from our hands, as were Bibles, which were destroyed in front of us. Police would keep a close eye on us to make sure we didn’t cause any problems or commit any crimes, but the crimes against us were simply part of their entertainment for the day. Meanwhile, we would watch in hor- ror as parents would bring their little children to the parade, faces painted in rainbow colors, little boys wearing girls’ tutus, and the sodomites would hand out candy and rainbow colored balloons to them. Some were given rainbow-colored condoms. Men dressed as bizarre female prostitutes would have their pictures taken with 4- year-olds. And the parade would fea- ture every business and corporation you could think of — from Target stores to UPS. Even the City of Columbus itself had a float in the pa- rade. The first year we went, I counted no less than 40 floats in the parade spon- sored by churches — some of their signs read “God thinks you’re fabu- lous,” and “God loves gays.” The floats in the parade were bad enough, with nearly-nude men and women gy- rating suggestively, simulating sodomite sex. Then there were the leather men, totally naked except for a

“g string” and a dog collar, led on a leash by their sodomite masters. And within the crowd, along the sidewalks, totally nude or nearly nude men would be simulating sodomite sex within a few feet of onlooking little children. One year, I had some signs made up for the parade that had some ex- tremely powerful messages on them. But the one they hated the most read, “Do you think this is appropriate for children to see?” They hated this sign because it exposed their real agenda. Our group had spread out along the parade route, and my wife happened to be holding this sign a few feet away from me. They hated that sign so much, one of them came up behind her, and kicked her knees out from under her. As she fell to the ground, they stole the sign and threw it over a bridge into the river below. Before anyone could do anything, that perpe- trator was gone. In another instance, as our message was being drowned out by the trum- pets, drums, screaming and bullhorns, we learned that the leader of this par- ticular group of attackers was a Lutheran pastor. I did manage to have one meaning- ful conversation at one of these events. A lesbian and five of her friends came up to attack me and my wife. God intervened and she was able to hear what I had to say. But it was still so loud, with all the others on the street trying to drown out our mes- sage. So I asked this college-age girl if we could move over to a grassy area, away from the crowds and have a discussion. She agreed. As we moved away from the crowd, one of her group said to me, “You’re the only nice one of these people out here!” I said, “No, I’m not any nicer than anyone else in our group. You just haven’t given them a chance to talk to you.” Then, I explained how she had been lied to — by her teach- ers, her peer group, her pastors and those behind the scenes of the “rain- bow cult.” She didn’t like the thought of being purposely deceived and wanted to know more. She argued that the church she attended affirmed her lesbian lifestyle, so surely I was wrong. I was able to show her some Scripture verses, particularly those in Romans 1, and as I read them to her, the reality hit home. I asked her to read some verses herself — out loud for the rest of her group to hear. She did, and then admitted that her “pas- tor” had never shown these Scriptures to her before, and she had no idea they were in the Bible. What I’d said about her being lied to by the rainbow cult really hit home when she read Ro- mans 1:25, about exchanging the truth of God for a lie. We spoke for about a half hour, and then, tears began to well up in her eyes. She hung her head, thanked me again for being “nice,” and then said, “I think I have a lot to think about.” And then she — and her entire group — left the parade. I still pray that God saved her...and her friends from the snares of this demonic recruitment. It should be noted that this parade, at that time, had a half million people par- ticipating. Now, it’s more than

700,000. An absolutely massive crowd, and ironically, they were all marching down Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio. “Broad is the road that leads to destruction.” Today, we’ve “progressed” from just “pride” parades and celebrations in June to more than 300 celebrations — all year long — dedicated to sexual perversion. Here are just a few: In February, “LGBT+ History Month” and “Aromantic Spectrum Aware- ness Week.” In March, “Bisexual Health Awareness Week,” “Zero Dis- crimination Day” and the “Interna- tional Transgender Day of Visibility.” In April, “Asexuality Day,” the “Day of Silence” and the “International Les- bian Visibility Day.” In May, “Queer History Month,” the “International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.” Also, “Pansexual and Panromantic Visibility Day.” Following “pride” month in June, we have “Omnisexual Visibility Day,” “Lesbian Visibility Day,” “Non-Binary Awareness Week” and “International Drag Day.” In August there’s “Gay Uncle Day.” In September, “Bisex- ual Awareness Week.” October brings “LGBT History Month” (again), “National Coming Out Day,” “Inter- national Pronoun Day” and “Intersex Awareness Day.” November has “Transgender Parent Day,” “Trans Awareness Week” and the “Trans- gender Day of Remembrance.” And December features “Pansexual Pride Day,” among others. A couple years ago when I checked, I found 72 distinct different genders that were affirmed. Today, in my research I found that number has grown to 134. Almost double the number of “new” genders in just two years. A few include Aerogender, meaning their gender changes de- pending on their surroundings. There’s also Alexigender, where a person has a fluid gender identity be- tween more than one type of gender but they cannot name the genders they feel fluid in. And among the list of the 134 gen- ders we’re now urged to affirm is Caelgender — this gender identity shares the qualities or aesthetics of outer space. You can’t make this stuff up, folks. Well, clearly you can, and we have. Let me conclude by saying that while we should hate the sodomite demons, we should not hate those captured in their snares, but rather have the courage to confront these victims with the truth, help them un- derstand these feelings, emotions and all this confusion is not natural, but instead they’re being groomed for exploitation and abuse. Most of these people are victims of this cult — especially our young people. You’ll rarely see a rainbow flag at a nursing home, but you’ll see plenty of them wherever children gather. That’s not by accident. No, this movement is not natural and hasn’t come about by chance. It’s been nurtured from a tiny crack in the moral fabric of our nation. Those who should have known bet- ter and should have done better ig- nored it, and now we have an

uncontrolled infestation, an over- growth of noxious weeds, a black mold enveloping the hearts, minds and souls of our young people, and it’s time we grow a backbone, stand up and start telling them the truth, rather than “loving” them straight to hell. Stop cursing the darkness and instead

what’s really going on in our world today.

Have you been blessed by picking up a copy of Wisconsin Christian News from a news rack in a public place? Do you appreciate the hard-hitting, thought provoking commentary, in- spired Bible teaching, and relevant (and truthful) news from around the world? Do you appreciate the fact that we publish the TRUTH — whether it’s “politically correct” or not? Do you like that we stand up for America’s historical Christian her- itage, even as we urge a return to the moral, biblical standards that our na- tion once cherished? Wisconsin Christian News is a coop- erative effort by active Christ-followers from all walks of life. In our pages and on our website, you’ll find Informa- tion, Education and Inspiration, with a majority of the articles written by members of our “WCN family” of con- tributors. WE HAVE SOME OF THE BEST CHRISTIAN WRITERS IN THE

NATION IN OUR PAGES, FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY — AND WCN IS NOT JUST FOR WISCONSIN! We have subscribers in all fifty states, and our website is used by people WORLD- WIDE! But while we provide valuable con- tent to the Christian community, our real focus is on reaching those who are lost and seeking, or those who have been alienated from “church” as an institution in the past. And espe- cially those who have never heard the Good News of the Gospel of Christ, or have walked away from their faith and have continued searching. The “free” copies you’ll find on the racks in lobbies of grocery stores, fam- ily restaurants, truck stops, book- stores, libraries, hotels and other public places are our OUTREACH to those who otherwise would never get the truth of God’s Word or the truth of

We do have advertisements in the paper, however, the revenue from our ads doesn’t come anywhere close to covering the enormous financial needs, which we must raise every month. For several years now, WCN has only been able to continue through the generous financial sup- port of individuals — true Christ-fol- lowers who understand and support the ministry work we do. We are nearly 100% Reader Sup- ported now, yet of the thousands of copies we provide out in the public square, far fewer than 1% of those who pick a copy up every month ever send any type of support. This has now become unsustainable. Some have suggested we become an “online only” publication. But we hope you understand, if we were to do that, only those who are already

Every month, we distribute thou- sands of copies of Wisconsin Christian News free of charge, made available in public news racks. We also provide complimentary copies to jail inmates, shut-ins, and hospital patients. This is our ministry to those who are lost, confused and seeking the truth. We’ve had wonderful testimonies from peo- ple who have come to know the Lord for the first time, or returned to Him, after many years away, after finding and reading our newspaper in a pub- lic place. This is our outreach — and it truly is a ministry — our mission. But it costs a great deal of money to do this, and while we constantly re- ceive requests for even MORE copies in these public areas, the costs to pro- duce and distribute our printed news- paper continue to rise every month.

Christians and who would go to our website purposely, would ever see it. This is why our print edition is VITAL — whereas a Bible tract or book handed to someone would eas- ily be tossed aside, because we’re in newspaper format, thousands of people pick up WCN each month — of their own freewill, because they want it! What better way to reach the unsaved, than for THEM to choose to pick up our newspaper on their own, be- cause something on our front page caught their attention? Then, eyes are opened and hearts and lives are changed. Very likely, we reach more unsaved souls out in public with God’s Word and truth in a single month than the aver- age church will reach in its en- tire existence. This is not “boasting,” but rather the sim- ple truth. Thus, we must maintain our print edition . This work is more vital now than ever before. Especially in this age of dis-information and mis-information, political “spin” and radical leftist “jour- nalism.” But if Wisconsin Christian News is to continue as a print publication, available by sub- scription to Christians, as well as those thousands of free copies we place in public to reach the lost, we NEED YOUR HELP today! Please consider becoming a monthly Supporting Member of our ministry team. While so many readily fund overseas missionaries, THIS is a mis- sion right here in your own backyard, where it’s so des- perately needed. We’re asking for your help, and believe everybody can do something. But if you’re truly not able to help financially, we ask that you please help prayerfully. Without your help, we will not be able to continue this essential outreach much longer. Please prayerfully con- sider what YOU can and will do today, to make sure WCN is still there next month. Thank you, and God bless you.

The Salt & Light Brigade

Stupid is As Stupid Does

By Coach Dave Daubenmire Summer 2025

Look. Individ- uals are Chris- tian…or not

The days of “One nation UNDER GOD, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all” is simply a hollow meme from the past. That nation, to which we pledge fidelity, is none of the things mentioned in the Pledge of Alle- giance.

Christian… based on their system of belief. Since the birth of our nation the standard of determining right and wrong has been the Bible. Govern- ment morality is not deter- mined by a vote of Congress, or a terrorist in a black robe, but by an eternal standard upon which a na- tional government is formed. America is a nation of majority Christian citizens now being ruled by an atheistic government. Caesar is now king over the American people. There was a day in America when every child in the “public” schools began the day by reciting: “Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy King- dom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For THINE is the KINGDOM, and THE POWER, and THE GLORY FOREVER. Amen.” Every child. Every school. Every day. Until the courts said we were violating the law. I understand multi-culturalism. I under- stand many different gods. But by what standard is the American Government going to operate? How about we teach every American child these simple rules: Honor Thy Father and Mother, Don’t mur-

• One nation UNDER God

• Indivisible

• With Liberty and Justice for all.

Words. Those are simply words that they taught us to mouth in elementary school. The American Government represents none of those values. Zero. NADA. A total meaningless fraud. America is a captured nation. A nation no longer controlled by the Christians who founded it, but, as the Scriptures warn us, evil men who have crept in unawares and have turned our nation into something that it never was intended to be. A secular nation is a godless nation. Al- though, according to recent studies at least 65% of Americans identify with some form of Christianity, (down from 80% a genera- tion ago) our Government is atheistic. That was decided by the SCOTUS in 1947 when they determined in Everson v Board that there was a “separation between the church and the state.” Almighty God was evicted from His posi- tion of King of kings and relegated to the role of just one of the many “gods” that Americans served. This is the rotten fruit of the atheistic government-run indoctri- nation system controlling your LOCAL schools. Jesus Christ, the most essential figure in the history of Western Civilization…the Man by whom all time is measured around the world…BC AD…is not even mentioned in your public-funded educational system. Jesus is just another guy to hang out with…Buddha…Mohammed…Lucifer… pick your deity in modern American democracy. If America was really a nation under God, would it be important to identify whom that Deity might be? The pledge says “GOD” …singular…not “gods”... plural. America has become one nation under many gods…or no gods…whatever floats your boat. What makes a behavior or action “right or wrong?” Who determines that? By what standard do our judges and “lawmakers” base their decisions? The Bible asks us, “Can two walk together less they agree?” What is the American standard by which right and wrong are measured? We call that “morality.” What makes something moral…or immoral? An unelected judge? What is his/her standard?

a government of, by, and for, the people teach atheism to their children?

The Founders did get one thing right. There IS a separation between the Church and the State. But we have applied the premise in reverse. The Christian God is over the government…not under it.

“The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.” (Psalm 12:8).

To paraphrase Forrest Gump…Wicked is as wicked does. Say what you want to about the depth of President Trump’s per- sonal Christianity…I am not here to debate that. But he has clearly opened the door and welcomed Christianity back into our government. No wonder the phonies in both parties are kicking and screaming. Will we accept the invitation? Will a na- tion of Christians demand the obedience to Christian values from our government? Will we begin again to teach Christian val- ues to our children? The ball is in our court. Will the CHRISTIAN CHURCH an- swer the bell? Stupid is as stupid does. Web: www.CoachDaveLive.com E-Mail: Coach@CoachDaveLive.com

der, Don’t commit adultery, Don’t steal, Don’t lie, Don’t covet. Aren’t those values good for athe- istic children as well? What if we de- manded our elected officials do the same? Did you know that 88% of Congressional mem- bers identify as Christian? Why don’t we demand that they act like it? Can someone please explain to me why the Christian values of 88% of Americans are barred from the edu- cation of their own children? Why does
