Some Moravian fam- ilies found refuge on the estate of Count Nicholas Ludwig von Zinzendorf, a Saxony Nobleman (what is now Germany), in 1722. What can only be characterized as a true Holy Spirit led revival, this community of Jesus followers maintained an around the clock, 24-hour prayer vigil of 2-3 people in one-hour segments (168/week) for over 100 years! They prayed for the missionaries that were sent out from among them all over the world! This, in obedience to the last command of Jesus to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Among those missionaries, were 29 young men sent to reach the slaves in the Caribbean Islands of the West Indies. They had been told by a former slave there that the only way to reach these slaves was to become one them- selves, since they had to work all day on the plantations and after sunset they were not al- lowed to go out. They set sail planning to do just that, leaving all behind and become a slave to reach the slaves, as the Apostle Paul stated, “To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people that by all means I might save some.” Not so Different Today Having had some knowledge of those amaz- ing Moravian missionaries to the slaves of the west Indies in the 18th century and having had some personal experience in the Pro-Life Rescue Movement of the ‘80s and ‘90s and what it has become today, I have considered their similarities. The little recognized Moravian Church has proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 500 years in countries across the globe. They first came to America during the colonial pe- riod. Among their frontier communities for evangelism were Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Bethabara, in what is now, Winston Salem, North Carolina which today maintains a his- torical park of restored buildings and histori- cal interpreters. The Christian faith of the Moravian Church originated in ancient Bohemia and Moravia (present day Czech Republic). These countries turned to Christ, primarily through the early Church Fathers, Cyril and Methodius who translated the Bible into the common lan- guage. Early Reformation From this tradition, John Hus (1369-1415), Rector of the University in Prague and early Reformer (over 60 years before Martin Luther), preached against certain Roman Catholic teachings not found in Scripture and the ex- cesses of the clergy. Having a popular follow- ing, he was burned at the stake in July of 1415. The followers of John Hus formalized the Moravian Church and established its own ministry in 1467. By 1517 they grew to over 400 parishes and 200,000 people. After 30 years of writing their own hymns, having their own catechism and printing Bibles in the local languages, a persecution broke out which caused the church to move and spread to other areas.
is what has become known as, “Sidewalk Counseling.” This is also a completely legal approach as it involves free speech done on public property. The sidewalk counselor tries to speak to the mothers approaching the abor- tion facility either as they are walking or be- side a driveway where they enter. This is a last-minute attempt to offer the mom help and alternatives to abortion. Thousands of people are alive today because of sidewalk coun- selors! ABORTION MURDER GROWING IN WISCONSIN “Even on their beds they plot evil; they commit themselves to a sinful course and do not reject what is wrong.” (Psalm 36:4). Most abortions are done chemically today, by means of drugs. Conceived children can be killed by different forms of birth control that prevent the beginning of life from attaching to the uterine wall. It looks like Wisconsin will soon have five surgical abortion centers. “Care for All Community Clinic” is advertising to open June 10, 2025 to expand the number of baby murder centers in Wisconsin to five. A Google search first brought up some information on In- stagram, where they had over 300 followers currently. Their allies and supporters are other evil en- tities such as, a “Drag Queen Bingo” event seeking to raise money for them, “Reproductive Justice Action,” their logo being the Marxist fist, and “Abortion Access Front.” The co- founder of the new killing center is, “Dr A,” who states: “There was a survey that came out in 2021 that found that 92% of ob-gyns in the Midwest did not perform abortions. I think that is unacceptable... I have dedicated my profes- sional life to taking care of people with the abil- ity to become pregnant... “ She couldn’t bring herself to say, “women.” Maybe she can’t define “woman” either. Their web page (www.care- forallwi.org) advertises that they will be doing abortions up to 14 weeks. They state on their home page, “Abortion is Legal in Wisconsin.” The truth is that we have a law against abor- tion, but those in charge of enforcing it, will not. Our Democrat Attorney General will not, our Democrat Governor will not, and a Democ- rat Judge in Dane County said that it’s not about abortion, even when that’s the title of the law on the books. Not to be left out, our Repub- lican Legislature allows them all to get by with this! The Republican Assembly even voted for abortion by wanting to make us voters, through a ballot referendum, decide essentially on let- ting babies be killed at 14 weeks (so UW can still harvest their body parts) or at 20 weeks (current limit)! That question, Republican As- sembly, is unacceptable! making it a federal crime to peacefully in- terpose between an abortionist and his in- tended victim (similar to a sit-in for civil rights in the ‘60s) and with the DOJ’s focused prosecution of them, up to 10 years or more in prison, and with judges and gullible ju- ries who refuse to see abortion for what it is – a direct attack and mu- tilation of an innocent child, those who con- tinue to rescue these children are doing so knowing that sooner or later they will be given a prison ministry! Even in the early days of the Rescue Movement, it was al- most unheard of for a Judge to even allow what is commonly called, “A Necessity De- fense,” which means that a lesser law can be validly ignored to obey a higher law. In other words, trespassing can be allowed to save human life. Another little recog- nized, but very suc- cessful way of rescuing children from abortion,
