I n fact, i t’s happening to savers across the country right now. And it will happen to you, too. We live in a world where rapid innovation has eliminated compromise from many areas of our lives. You don’t have to leave the beach early because it might rain; new weather apps can alert you when the rain will begin, down to the minute. You don’t have to rush home to catch your favorite TV show; you can watch it on demand, from your phone, anywhere. But when it comes to your retirement savings, I believe compromise is still the norm for many people. Nearly all of us are trying to decide how to give a little here to get a little there. What if it didn’t have to be this way? What if saving for the future didn’t feel like a series of trade-offs, but rather a strategy where you could get more of what you want, and reduce or even eliminate more of what you don’t?
