SPRING SHOWCASE Code + Create

After ten weeks of brainstorming, planning, prototyping, designing, coding, testing, and improving their own original apps, the top fourteen finalists out of 160 participating members had the opportunity to pitch and demonstrate their apps to a panel of Apple judges . Their task was to address a problem or challenge, and ideas ranged from learning a new language to finding new friends to buying and selling used items.

Congratulations to our top three winners! 1st: Julian (Smythe) - Mental Health Support 2nd: Tunde (Rocketship Alma) - Draw ‘n Color 3rd: Grace (Rocketship Spark) - Healing Music

Our members recently had a blast visiting the Apple Store for a special Apple Camp session! During the workshop, students learned how to create their own short films using iPads and iMovie. With hands-on lessons, they explored different camera angles, created smooth transitions, and added sound effects and music to bring their stories to life. LIGHTS, CAMERA, IMOVIE!
