PARTNERSHIPS CREATING STRENGTH IN OUR COMMUNITY How T&P and Hanson House Are Helping TBI Patients Rebuild Their Lives Each year, during the Tittle & Perlmuter Annual Open House, the team reaffirms its commitment to creating safer communities. This year, the firm proudly teamed up with Hanson House TBI Clubhouse to raise funds and awareness for individuals affected by traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Allen and Scott are committed to continuously supporting individuals with TBIs, as many of our clients are on the path to recovery from these life-altering injuries. Hanson House is located in Berea, Ohio, and was founded by Anita Ferut and her late mother. The organization was created following a life-altering bike accident that left Ferut’s father with a serious TBI. Hanson House demonstrates a mission that came from love and personal understanding of all the needs that TBI sufferers face. The clubhouse offers a warm environment where members of the TBI community can find support, therapeutic services, and social activities aimed at promoting long-term wellness and independence. By fostering connections through events and life skills groups, Hanson House helps individuals navigate the challenges of recovery and find a new normal. During this year’s Open House, a touching speech highlighted the partnership’s impact. A mutual client of both Tittle & Perlmuter and Hanson House shared her inspiring journey of recovery after a motor vehicle accident that resulted in a TBI. Her heartfelt testimony revealed the barriers she faced and how the compassionate support from Hanson House’s staff helped her regain her confidence and rebuild her life.

The Open House not only raised crucial funds for Hanson House but also served as a platform to spread awareness about the unique needs of TBI patients and the importance of community support. Together, the T&P Team and Hanson House are making amazing strides toward a safer and more inclusive community for all. It is with partnerships like this that strong and safe communities are built.

1 1/2 tsp vegetable oil, or as needed

• • • • •

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice

• • • •

1/2 cup half-and-half

1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts

1/4 cup canned pumpkin purée

8 slices day-old bread Maple syrup, to taste

3 large eggs

1 tsp ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

1. Lightly oil a skillet and heat over medium heat. 2. Whisk half-and-half, pumpkin purée, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice together in a bowl. Stir in walnuts until evenly distributed. 3. Place 1 slice of bread in the bowl and let it soak briefly to coat both sides. Lift bread to let excess liquid drip back into the bowl, then transfer to the hot skillet. 4. Cook for 2–3 minutes or until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until done. 5. Stir batter to redistribute walnuts and repeat with other slices of bread, cooking in several batches if necessary. 6. Serve warm with maple syrup.
