All employees have access to free financial planning, regardless of what stage of life they’re in. Frontier Co-op matches employee contributions to 529 College Saving Plans up to $1,000 per year for their children and grandchildren. We understand that life happens and emergencies arise without warning that may require money prior to payday. Employees can access a portion of their earned wages (no more than 50%) during the current pay period for a fee of $1 per $100 borrowed. Employee development is important at Frontier Co-op. Employees are eligible for up to $5,250 per calendar year for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, and up to $10,000 per year for a Master’s degree up to $30,000 total. To accommodate the needs of our employee parents, Frontier Co-op operates a licensed onsite childcare center at our headquarters in Norway, IA. For employees who choose to utilize other childcare providers, we offer childcare reimbursement to all employees whose children attend a DHS certified provider, regardless of where and when they work.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT
Paid days off for important life events including your wedding, gradation, personal legal business, transitioning a parent or spouse to a long-term care facility, jury/witness duty, bereavement, and parental leave. Employees receive 8 hours of paid time per fiscal year to volunteer with any registered non-profit organization of their choice. Paid volunteer time can be used anytime, including off-shifts and weekends.
