Meet Every Situation Head On. Under the Pandemic’s shadow, it’s understandable to seek solace in the screen’s shine. But, at Marist, the designers’ purpose is to enhance life, not to distract from it. Rather than ethereal escapism, the clothes, designed under the philosophy of the new (new) age; take on a new form of glamor, born from utilitarian reasoning and construction. A maxi dress with calculated, almost mathematical, patterning and cut-outs works with technology and projection as a vessel for endless versatility. The fabric choices were highly technical and future-forward: microsuede, double faced crepe, rainproof cotton, mesh, … The silhouettes are billowing and voluminous, like a warm embrace against an uncertain future.
