Use Guest Illness Summary Sheet to record all guest illness and details Letter issued to guest using template Politely encourage in-house guests exhibiting symptoms to remain in their room until symptom-free to avoid cross contamination Provide ill guests with contact telephone numbers. All communications should be via telephone or through a closed guestroom door. Ensure clean towels and linen are provided to ill guests. Associates are aware that room service or linen delivery is to be left outside the guestroom door. Knock on the door and announce delivery. Ensure drinking water and food are provided for ill guests. Contact family members of guests if requested. Liaise with medical services if required Make arrangements for ill guests to stay longer if needed.
