Integration Seminars A series of seminars designed to investigate the mutual relationship between theological and psychological concepts. These seminars constitute one essential uniqueness of the Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology and offer students an opportunity to become involved in a creative application of their insights from these related disciplines. PT701 The Nature and Scope of Integration (2) The course includes a discussion of the models, levels and areas in which integration of the theological and psychological can occur as well as a frame­ work for conceptualizing the scope of integration in its entirety. Prerequisite: One theology course and second year standing PT702 Systems of Integration (2) A critical evaluation of the works of specific theologians and psychologists who have attempted to integrate the disciplines of psychology and theology such as Adams, Gothard, Mowrer, Browning, Hodge, Tournier, Van Kaam and Wagner Prerequisite: One theology course and second year standing PT703 Guilt, Conscience and Socialization (2) A discussion of guilt and conscience, biblically and psychologically including theories, origins and their expressions in therapy. Prerequisite: Admission to didactic PT704 Anger, Aggression and Hostility (2) A discussion of anger and related emotions and behavior, biblically and psy­ chologically, including the catharsis hypotheses and aggression in fantasy. Prerequisite: Admission to didactic PT705-708 (2) Additional seminars are offered on an interest or demand basis, including such topics as • Biblical and psychological perspectives on the nature of man • The development of religious concepts in children • Psychological implications of the doctrine of grace • Biblical and psychological perspectives on maturity Prerequisite: Completion of core curriculum in psychology and theology
