NEW YORK — Mc Gowan Builders, Inc . announces com- pletion of the townhouse conver- sion at 255 East 71st Street for MarymountManhattanCollege, which will provide important newoffice facilities for theirgrow- ing campus nearby. Mc Gowan Builders worked carefullytoensureproperaltera- tionand transition of the former townhouse into usable office space for Marymount Manhat- tan College. Mc Gowan began with the complete abatement and demolition of the existing structure, except for the façade. New structural framing, un- derpinning, elevator pits and structural slabs were installed, followed by a new mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) system. Mc Gowan then in- stalled a new elevator system, windows and roofing. Finally, the building was fit with brand new, high-end interior finishes to accommodate Marymount ManhattanCollege’sneeds. The former townhouse on East 71st street is now ready to function aspremier office space forMary- Back in December private equity firm, Procida Fund- ing , provided Jerald Devel- opment Group an acquisition and infrastructure loan for the project. Jerald Development Group is known for creating highly successful communities throughout central New Jer- sey. The townhomes are being built by NVR’s Ryan Homes division, one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S Like all new Ryan Homes product, those at Riverwood Chase are fully ENERGY STAR Qualified, yielding monthly utility bills up to 30% lower than standard homes, according to the EPA. All Ryan Homes also carry 10-year structural warranties and are independently inspected for quality by a third-party inspector. Units at Riverwood Chase start in the upper $200,000s. ■
