2025 Board of Directors
Providing hope,
health, and happiness
Executive Committee Laura Tolson – Chair
Families come to Ryan House carrying so much. The demands of round-the-clock caregiving, the weight of uncertainty and the hope of making every moment count. Because of your generosity, they are met here with compassion, expert care and a place to exhale. Your support makes it possible for families to rest, reconnect and experience moments of comfort, joy and togetherness when they are needed most. As you read this year’s annual report, you will see the direct impact your support made possible in 2025. With your generosity, Ryan House enrolled 180 children and families in our respite program, provided 34,200 hours of respite care to 136 children with life-

limiting conditions, and supported 31 children and their families at end-of-life. These are more than numbers. They reflect moments of relief, connection and compassionate care for families who need them most. As medical advances help children with complex conditions live longer, the need for pediatric respite, palliative and end-of-life care continues to grow. Ryan House remains committed to meeting that need with excellence and heart, while also ensuring families have the support they need to navigate the realities of 24/7 caregiving. In this report, you will read about one example of the many partners who help make that care possible. McCarthy Building Companies has supported Ryan House through volunteerism, multi-year giving and the renovation of our teen suites, helping create comfort and belonging for the children and families we serve. We are deeply grateful for the community that surrounds Ryan House with such compassion and care. Your support sustains not only our programs and services, but also the moments of rest, joy and connection that mean so much to our families. Thank you for believing in this mission and for helping Ryan House continue to be a place of comfort, dignity and love.
