■ Career achievements: Designed and led build of a modular hospital for the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) at Bentiu. The design had to balance medical need and regulatory requirements with local resource and logistic constraints. The complete project was delivered in under nine months. Created, with partners, a £250 million masterplan for the redevelopment of the airbase at Mount Pleasant in the Falkland Islands. This was a staged investment proposal to improve operational output and the lived experience, over a 10-year period.
