Scholastic Literacy Partnerships serves to enhance the efforts of all those working directly or indirectly with children, enabling them to support literacy by getting books into the hands of the children they serve. Not just any books, but books that interest kids, that delight them, that they will love. Literacy Partnership programs and resources are designed to provide community leaders the research-based solutions they need to help all children succeed inside and outside of the classroom. Expert implementation support and professional development services are available to help with instructional strategies and sustain improvement. We can help enrich and support your literacy initiatives in your community by: Building home libraries with take-home books that kids will be proud to call their own Sharing strategies to support families with resources for at-home learning Offering professional learning to help providers strengthen their capacity to engage and support families Our resources have been carefully aligned to helping children build their home libraries with take-home books and family resources. We partner with you to build your summer or extended learning program to focus on the most critical areas of need—closing gaps, accelerating learning, effective Family & Community Partnerships, and addressing trauma.
