Ergonomic Safety Tips for Working at a Desk
Maintain good posture: Keep your head and neck aligned, and avoid leaning forward. Adjust your chair: Find a chair that works well for your body, and make sure it supports your back. Take breaks: Get up and move around to avoid sitting in the same position for too long. Adjust your monitor: Position your monitor directly in front of you, and make sure the center of the screen is at eye level. Adjust your keyboard and mouse: Move your keyboard and mouse closer to you to avoid leaning forward. Take frequent breaks: Stretch and change your posture throughout the day. Look away from your monitor: Every 10–20 minutes, look at something more than 20 feet away to reduce eye strain. Keep your workspace tidy: A clean workspace can help prevent common hazards.

INSURANCE DISCOUNT
Open enrollment for insurance benefits will begin in April. To qualify for the wellness discount, please ensure you complete the necessary form before then. The form can be found on the last page of your benefits book. It requires you to schedule appointments with your doctors for routine checkups and have them sign the form. If you need a copy of the benefits book or assistance with filling out the form, feel free to stop by HR, we’ll be happy to help. Lenin is 8 years old and loves to sleep. Lua is 5 years old and loves looking out windows. Theo is 3 years old and enjoys barking.
