Kevin Devenney Kevin takes a unique hands-on approach to physical therapy and couples that with his passion for functional exercise. His goal by combining the two is to empower the patient with the knowledge and confidence to sustain a healthy lifestyle beyond his care. He does not look at physical therapy as “treating an injury”, but rather treating a person who is in a state of injury. Kevin places his value on getting to know his patients; who they are, what their goals and expectations are, andmost importantly what they hope to attain through therapy in order to improve their overall health and well being. His motto is simple: intervene, prevent, and educate. Intervene using hands-on treatment to begin to decrease pain,

increase range of motion and improve a person’s overall wellness. Prevent injury by complimenting manual therapy with the appropriate exercise to increase strength and stability and reduce to risk for further injury. Educate individuals not only on how injury occurs but how to use the techniques they’ve learned to help avoid injury in the future. “Our goal is to teach people not only that is it possible to have a healthy, pain-free life, but show them how it can be accomplished through appropriate exercise, nutrition, and life style choices so that they can truly be healthy, in every way possible.”
