Education Essential: • Professionally qualified in a relevant area.
Knowledge Essential: • Highly developed knowledge of the principles, theory, and practice in the field of Property management and development as well as an awareness of broader developments in the field. • Knowledge of systems/services for a Property department and across functions and how they relate to each other • Understanding of relevant regulations and procedures and the implications for staff and the organisation of non-compliance • Knowledge to be able to propose and implement changes to work processes and develop and define proposals for changes in policy to consistently improve quality and effectiveness of service provided, taking into account legislative changes Skills & Abilities: Essential: • Has the ability to manage a large multi- functional team, through a senior management team, to ensure all relevant annual organisational targets and goals are delivered within any allocated budgetary/ resource constraints • Able to develop/improve the capability of staff and other professionals within their work area, motivating and mentoring them to better meet the current and future requirements of the department • Excellent interpersonal, spoken, and written communication skills, including ability to

Experience Essential:
• A seasoned Property professional who has interacted at senior levels within an organisation and has a proven ability to network with fellow professionals . • Demonstrable experience of managing the property condition of a sizeable property portfolio. • Strong track record of delivering capital projects at a scale of £50m+ to the user brief, time and to budget. • Experience of managing annual budgets in excess of £100m • Extensive relevant experience demonstrating professional development through involvement in a series of demanding and influential roles obtained in a similar complex environment. • A proven track record in answering for the service delivery of a complex area of responsibility in respect of compliance with current and future organisational objectives, service level agreements, regulations, and national codes of practice. • Experience of participating in an organisation’s annual operational planning
process, to supporting a department’s strategic direction and organisational strategic plan.
