Installation | High Pressure Gas Regulator
NOTE: — Always install a filter upstream of the regulator — Install a relief valve to discharge pressure surge due to fast shut-off downstream of the regulator — If the velocity at the exit of the regulator is greater than 65 ft/s, external impulse should be added. The impulse line diameter should be 3⁄8 " and has a ¼ " PF connection. Connect this line 4 x DN downstream of the regulator. — Install shut-off valve downstream of the regulator at a distance not less than 6 x DN, to have a sufficient volume inside pipe to compensate increasing pressure when valve closes.
