OIL SOLENOID VALVES

The following two-way solenoid valves are designed to control the flow of light oils (Nos. 2 and 4) and heavy oils (Nos. 5 and 6). These valves are not equipped with Position Indication or Proof-of-Closure switch. They are UL listed, FM approved, and CSA certified, normally closed shutoff valves. The valves have a Type 3R enclosure, brass body, and SST seat with 120/60-110/50 standard voltage.

Where a section of oil piping can be shut off at both ends, relief valves or expansion chambers shall be installed to release the pressure caused by thermal expansion of the oil. per NFPA 86 6.3.3.6 (2011)

Notes: 1. The 1483-01 solenoid valve has a ½ " NPT bypass. (See dimensions.) 2. Solenoid valves must be mounted vertical and upright. 3. See page 5 for fluid and ambient temperatures.

GENERAL-PURPOSE SOLENOID VALVE This valve is a three-way, direct acting, universal solenoid for general service applications including air, inert gas, water, and light oil at 300 SSU. The body material is brass and seals are Buna N. It is UL listed and CSA certified. Standard 120/60-110/50 voltage.
