EXPLOSION RESISTANT ASSEMBLY (ERA) cables are intended for use in systems that require sealed ignition wiring (Class 1 Div. 2 applications). Although the wiring method used between the ignition transformer and the spark plug was designed and chosen to be suitable for use in Class 1 Div. 2 hazardous locations, it DOES NOT carry certifications or third-party approvals. 4085-ERA cables feature sealed aircraft type ignition cable construction with flexible stainless-steel conduit, and a ¾“ - 20 threaded collar to connect to North American -ERA spark igniters. See Sheet 4055 and 4051 for -ERA Igniter details. Any of the standard 4085 transformer secondary connection types can be configured for connection to an ignition transformer mounted in an appropriate enclosure. To order a 4085-ERA cable use the part number format below. Cables can also be ordered in custom engineered lengths, contact Fives North American for details.
