In addition to the standard drillings listed on Bulletin 8699, Balancing Orifices are available with special drill size orifices at extra charge.
8699-01 through -5 Orifices are available hand-drilled (accuracy not guaranteed) or, for an extra set-up charge, jig-drilled (flow accuracy ±5%, same as standard orifices). Any standard fractional, lettered, or numbered drill size can be provided up to the maximum size in the table below.
8699-6 and -7 Orifices are bored on a lathe, so there is no limit to the number of sizes available. However, maximum bore size listed in the table should not be exceeded.
