FRONT COVER CONTROLS Reset: Used to reset the unit after a bed overtemperature situation has been resovled.
MOUNTING Units should be mounted where the ambient temperature will be less than 180 F for the DF and SF versions, or 160 F for the DB version, and should be shielded from radiated heat. The 8752C-DB unit should be mounted in another enclosure. See Figures 7 and 8 for the mounting dimensions for the 8752C-DF and -SF. SETUP The units are calibrated before shipping. No field calibration or other setup is required. OPERATION The 8752C operates as soon as power is applied. If a bed gœs overtem- perature, the 8752C opens the relay contact. The contact opens when either monitored bed goes overtemperature. After the overtemperature condition is resolved, the reset button must be pushed or power cycled to reset the unit. If 8752C cannot be reset and the bed(s) are not over- temperature, make sure the OPEN TC indicators are not lit. Thermocouple input voltages can be measured by connecting test probes to the thermocouple terminal points through the front cover of the 8752C-DF and -SF units. The 8752C-DB must be unplugged to mea- sure the thermocouple inputs.
Operating: A green LED indicating the unit is powered and operating.
TC A or B Open: A red LED indicating the corresponding thermocouple is open. TC A or B Limit: A red LED indicating the corresponding TwinBed ® bed is over the preset temperature limit.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING 1. Check wiring. 2. Check for 120 V ac at the L1 and L2 terminals. 3. Check for open thermocouple indicators.
If the above actions do not correct the problem, contact North American.

WARNING: Situations dangerous to personnel and property may exist with the operation and maintenance of any combustion equipment. The presence of fuels, oxidants, hot and cold combustion products, hot surfaces, electrical power in control and ignition circuits, etc., are inherent with any combustion application. Components in combustion systems may exceed 160°F (71°C) surface temperatures and present hot surface contact hazard. Fives North American Combustion, Inc. suggests the use of combustion systems that are in compliance with all Safety Codes, Standards, Regulations and Directives; and care in operation.
