INSTALLATION 4630 Burner sections are shipped unassembled. No gaskets are used. Be sure to order all appropriate accessories, including flanges, endplates, separator plates, hardware kits and equip- ment to provide an air/gas premix. When they get hot, line burner assemblies expand unevenly and tend to bow in the center. Short assemblies can be bolted down securely, and flanges will take up the expansion. For longer lengths with no bottom feed connections (or one bottom feed only at the center), support assembly rigidly at its center, leaving ends free to bow away. When two or more bot- tom feed connections are used in an assembly, install 4-3159-1 Expansion Ignition Couplings between the bottom inlets. Mixers, pilot tips and flame supervision equipment should be installed in locations that allow them to avoid overheating. IGNITION/FLAME SUPERVISION Three ignition arrangements are available: (For oven applications consult NFPA 86.)
4630-P: uses direct spark ignition to light a 3" premix sec- tion. Capacity is approximately 50K Btu/h HHV (12.7 kW LHV) @ 4.0"w.c. (10 mbar) and requires a 3065-0-7 mixer.
