Inspirators as High Pressure Air Reducers Where installation space is limited and the greater cost of compressed air can be tolerated 3070 Inspirators can be used to reduce compressed air to low pressure air. For burners requiring low pressure air this serves as a substitute for a blower but sacrifices the economy of a blower. Approximately 21% of the total air discharged is compressed air; inlet pressure must be at least 40 times the desired outlet pressure.
