EMBA Celebrates Innovation, Global Presence On 70th Anniversary
Örebro, Sweden based EMBA, established in 1954, announced that this year marks their 70th anniversary. The primary focus of the company, initially named AB Emballagemaskiner, was on the design and manufac- turing of machines for semi-automatic and fully automatic folding and stitching of corrugated packaging. As business became more global, the EMBA brand was established. In 1962, the company introduced its folder gluer (model UVZ-RTZ), capable of converting up to 18,000 boxes per hour — further reinforcing the company’s international presence.
