J anuary is the season of resolutions for many people - It is a time to plan for future success and better habits. For me, I like to instead spend this month in reflection. The end of the previous year always seems to be hustled along in the holiday season blur. It’s October, you blink, and it's January! This January has me reflecting with gratefulness on all that 2023 brought into my life. As a club we welcomed many new members (Hi! I am glad you are here.), tried all sorts of new activities, explored incredible destinations, and met new people every step of the way. You all helped make 2023 special for me and I have a feeling the same will be said about the year ahead! I’d like to make a special shout out to our fabulous line- up of local performances at Hancher and Theatre Cedar Rapids, and enticing day trips to warm your spirits this chilly season. Everything you need to know about this winter’s club activities are on the pages to come. I hope you’ll join us!
