Sol-U-Guard Botanical concentrated disinfectant. Only available from Melaleuca. Powered by the herb thyme and citric acid.
Dirt-free doesn’t mean germ-free. An everyday cleaner does not kill germs. In fact, using an everyday cleaner and a cleaning cloth or sponge, you could simply be spreading the germs around. That’s why the final step in any cleanup – and a great thing to do between clean-ups – is to get out the disinfectant.
Time-tested thyme oil.
The thyme plant, Thymus vulgaris, uses thyme oil like an immune system – killing microorganisms before they can invade.
Revered by the ancients. Thanks to its natural antiseptic properties, the thyme plant has been prized for millennia by many civilizations. As many as 5000 years ago, the Sumerians discovered thyme’s ability to kill germs and began to cultivate it as a disinfectant. The oldest known medical record, a tablet found at the site of the ancient Sumerian city of Nippur and dated circa 2100BC, contains more than a dozen prescriptions, among them the herb thyme. From Sumeria, thyme made its way to ancient Egypt and Greece. In Egypt, sprigs of thyme were even found in the tomb of King Tut.
