By having the Baysek and being able to cut very clean slots for those partitions, the Premier jumbo machine was the one that fit our business best.” The AutoBox, the Baysek and -- though it arrived later -- the Premier partition assembler, met the immediate objec- tives of the Cumberland management team: they relieved pressure off the company’s older equipment to allow more efficient operation, and they bolstered Cumberland Con- tainer’s industrial niche, especially the partitions and die cuts widely used middle Tennessee’s growing automotive supply market. Move Toward Graphics With the next acquisitions, in May and October, 2021, and September, 2022, Jared and his team doubled down on their vision for faster set-ups, production speeds and greater market reach. Already secured in its industrial cus- tomer base, the company looked to grow elsewhere, spe- cifically to beefing up its graphic capabilities to broaden its customer base.
