JOINERY R ed Oak Joinery Contracts carried out the first and second joinery fixes for the luxury new-build development at Clooney Mews. Staircases and doorframes were installed in the first fix, with joiners returning to put in the detailed architrave and skirting to all properties.
Set up by Stephen McDevitt and Barry O’Connor as recently as 2019, Red Oak Joinery Contracts has quickly grown into the current team of 12 joiners. “We put our hearts and all our efforts into securing new contracts and we’ve been rewarded with some really interesting projects across Northern Ireland.” Red Oak Joinery Contracts covers all aspects of joinery from shop fit-outs to new build private dwellings – including a recent 14,000sqft home in
Irvinestown. The team is also skilled in roofing, tiling, slating and timber frame erection. Praising the efforts of the main contractor Glen Building Services on this well-run projects, Stephen said the firm is delighted to work on this high quality, new-build development.

TIMBER FRAME
U nique Timber Frame Solutions supplied and erected timber frame dwellings to the Clooney Mews new build residential development at Ballykelly, Co. Londonderry. The package included walls, floors, roofs, backboards for fascia and soffits.
Based in Claudy, Unique Timber Frame Solutions have been manufacturing, supplying and erecting timber frame buildings for over 30 years. Their wide- ranging project portfolio includes homes, nursing homes, apartment blocks and halls etc. Timber frame is a method of building which in essence replaces the thermally inefficient inner block wall of a building with the much more thermally efficient timber frame wall. “We deliver quality work to our clients,” said Brian Grant, Unique Timber Frame Solutions. “We work hard to make their dreams a reality and to meet their deadlines.” Commenting on the Clooney Mews project, Brian said, “This build was very straightforward and was a delight to work on.
