What I did: I created blog and social media content, promoted local events, mailed visitors guides to prospective travelers, and learned CMS and CRM systems. I also assisted with gift shop customers and walk-in visitors looking for information. What I liked: I enjoyed learning more about what the area has to offer such as restaurants, activities, events and festivals. I also enjoyed seeing how the back end of websites run. Future Dream Job: I’m not 100% sure, right now I’m interested in sports and venue marketing or tourism.
