Winter greetings, dear Club Members! What a year this has been. During uncertain times, it is such a comfort to fall back on the things that we know we can rely on – family, friendship, and faith. Throughout this season, remember that nothing can take away what means the most to us. We will always have our appreciation for nature’s splendor. We will always have the knowledge of what makes the holidays so joyous. We will always take refuge in the fact that we are never alone in this crazy world. All of us at Club Headquarters are hard at work (albeit, some of us from home!) to make sure we are providing you with the best Club Member experience possible. We hope you have been taking advantage of your Member benefits and that the extra time at home has allowed you to enjoy your Club pieces. We are always overjoyed to hear when our figurines inspire introspection, meditation, and a sense of peace. Please enjoy this issue of MOMENTS Magazine as you read about what else we’re up to. Hello Club Members, I think you would agree that 2020 certainly has been an interesting and memorable year so far… Much has changed quickly for us all this year and we have had to adapt to doing things differently. At Precious Moments, we have seen our business change in interesting ways as well. For example, with many brick & mortar stores closed, our customers have really embraced our improved website as a pleasurable and easy way to find an appropriate gift for themselves or a loved one. Many of you enjoy shopping our beautiful catalogs as well. I think our catalogs get better each time we create one and I find myself going to PreciousMoments.com to page through a digital version of each new catalog before it mails out so I can get an early look! Even though the world around us right now may not be the world we are used to, life’s important moments still go on—birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, Christmas and so many more… Thankfully, those special events are happening and need to be memorialized. What better way to do so than with a gift from Precious Moments. So stay safe, healthy, and happy during the remainder of 2020, and most importantly, don’t stop enjoying life’s most precious moments.

While not exactly what we planned, this year’s annual Precious Moments Family Reunion Event at the Precious Moments Chapel was held virtually. We couldn’t all be together in person, but it was exciting nonetheless! Through Facebook Live, viewers were able to see Master Sculptor Hiko Maeda signing figurines, Hiko and Deb Butcher working together to sculpt a NEW Chapel Exclusive Figurine, and the unveiling of the 2020 Design-Your-Own Figurine. 2020 Family Reunion Went Virtual WITH GOD WE CAN DO IT… ONLINE!

Hello Club Family! Those of you who knowmy dad know that his entire life has been spent working. I honestly don’t think he knows how to stop! He is now giving his 16-year old grandson art lessons and proudly tells his visitors about his “classes” and his favorite student! Of course, his grandson cherishes this time with Grandpa and the canvases displayed in his bedroom showcase their shared passion for art. On a completely different note, in the early days of Precious Moments® the process for creating a reproducible piece of art included peeling the top layer of an art board, which unfortunately often damaged my dad's original art. In my treasure hunt, I found several of these “lost” masterpieces. Through modern techniques, I have been able to salvage some of this artwork with stunning results!
I'm excited to share some of this never-before-seen artwork with you!
Are you as inspired as I am? I am looking forward to continuing my hunt and revealing more SamB original gems.
