hat is yourmost no- table project, deal or transaction? When asked this question, two transactions come to mind. One of the most interesting deals I’ve ever been involved with is a recent closing during the pandemic. This garden- style apartment community in Montgomery County, PA, featured a mix of 1BR and 2BR units and garnered a per-unit price of over $127,000. The trade also included two com- mercial spaces as part of the deal. Overall, key parties in- volved in the transaction were directly affected by the virus, W

them together on the sale of a Northwest Philadelphia property that closed during January of this year. Located in a highly desirable neighbor- hood, the vintage property had over 150 units and a host of amenities, including private wooded courtyards. Thanks to the relationships I’ve built over the past four years, I’ve gained enough trust that has allowed me to bring some of the same property owners and investors together to get a deal done. What do you consider your greatest professional accomplishment thus far? In 2019, I was named Ge-

broe-Hammer’s Salesperson of the Year, an honor bestowed in memory of the firm’s late founders Mel Gebroe and Mor- ris Hammer. This recognition is especially important to me because it is an annual peer- selected award voted on by all of the firm’s brokers. The cri - teria is simple: nominate one brokerage professional who has demonstrated exceptional, consistent sales performance. For me, this is validation that I’ve earned my stripes so to speak and measure up to the storied standards of Gebroe- Hammer Associates built over the course of its 45-year his- tory. This was made possible by Gebroe-Hammer’s time- tested training regimen, which does not include sitting behind a desk gathering market infor- mation for brokers in the field. From day one, I participated in the sales process and soaked it all in. Since joining Gebroe- Hammer, I’ve spearheaded or been involved with more than 25 deals totaling 2,698 units that sold for a combined $300.8M. How do you contribute to your company and/or the industry? Since joining the multi- family brokerage profession in mid-2016 as a trainee in Gebroe-Hammer Associates’ industry-unique brokerage mentorship program, I have served as part of the Greater Philadelphia/South Jersey Metro market team. Through past experiences and mentor- ship from industry icons such as executive managing direc- tor Joseph Brecher, president Ken Uranowitz, and senior vice president Eli Rosen, I have learned no deal is too small or too large, too simple or complex. In addition to se- curing exclusive listings and procuring the most appropri- ate buyers as either the sole broker or as part of a Gebroe- Hammer team, I have also served in an integral advisory role to property owners. In this capacity, I help them realize the maximum value of their assets and educate them re- garding current market condi- tions and trends. Since joining the firm, I have contributed toward Gebroe-Hammer’s overall Greater Philadelphia Metro sales totals, which num- ber 79 deals and 12,952 units that sold for $1.24B. These sales range from mid-2016 through April 2020. MAREJ

which made it tricky since we had to overcome a number of hurdles that required some creativity. Despite a lot of moving parts, I was able to get everyone to the virtual closing

table by the end of April. Another deal that was un- usual involved a “repeat” seller and “repeat” buyer who I had brought together on a deal last year. This time I brought
