relationships with big real estate owners & developers. I’m still working on that goal but glad with the progress I’ve made. What unique qualities and or personality do you feel makes you most suc- cessful in your profession? I’m always willing to do whatever I can do to help my clients to accomplish their goals. I’m also constantly working to become an expert to be able to deal with any issue that may arise during a real estate transaction to make sure the deal closes. MAREJ

family-friend and now Kislak teammate Scott Davidovic, suggested that I should try selling real estate instead. So, I went and got my real estate license, interviewed at Kislak, and got started on a wonderful opportunity. Sure glad that I did. If it wasn’t for Scott, I’d still be spend- ing my holidays still selling Ferragamos!” What were some of your early goals and did any- thing happen to change them? “Most notable for me, was of course my first closing. I believe it’s a special moment for anyone learning in this field. I was given an exclu - sive listing for a mixed use building in Irvington, froman owner who now I’ve contin- ued to build a strong working relationship with. During the process of the transaction the seller was able to include an additional building into our deal, although there were many obstacles we overcame along the way. I had worked so hard to ensure we crossed the finish line, as seeing process to the end is a key element in this business. We eventually were able to finally close, which took place exactly on my two year an- niversary at Kislak.” How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? “The Kislak Company has a wonderful tradition in this space that I am proud to be apart of. I believe that I bring the personable qualities and a work ethic that hopefully Mr. Jay Kislak would admire. I try my best to bring this to light along my consistent cold calls and in all of my interac- tions with people. Keeping in mind Kislak’s over 100 years of success.” Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? “For starters, my dad. My natural work ethic definitely comes from him. It would also be a major miss to to not men- tion Avi Oren, who uses his 30 years of experience to train and mentor new sales agents. He teaches you everything you need to know to be suc- cessful in this business. I can honestly say that my success was just as important to him as it was and is to me, as I have had the privilege to lean on him every step of the way!” What impact has social media / networking had on your career? Over the past two years I’ve learned how many people in the investment real estate community use social media especially LinkedIn. Using social media helps me to constantly stay in touch and connected with the people I do business with daily. Tell us how and when

you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current posi- tion and why you choose the field/profession you
