ALCOHOL LICENSE QUALIFICATIONS
On Premises Consumption
Refers to the selling of malt beverages, wine or distilled spirits for consumption at the site of the sale only. A license to sell alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption may only be issued for the following types of businesses. Beer and Wine (on premises) Sec. 10-48 Restaurants that derive no less than 60% of their total sales from the sale of prepared foods. Wine Bars, Speakeasies Bowling centers, billiard centers, gaming centers, golf clubs, performing arts theaters or movie theaters. Hotels Growler Stores Special Events, Catered Functions, Wine Tasting Rooms Liquor (mixed drinks, on premises) Sec. 10-48 Restaurants that derive no less than 60% of their total sales from the sale of prepared foods Limited Pour (on premises) Sec. 10-48 A business establishment which provides as its primary business one of the approved activities as listed below may, if properly licensed provide limited pours to its patrons within its place of business of wine, malt beverage or both, as licensed. Formal or wedding apparel Fashionable clothing boutique Fine Jewelry made of gold, platinum, diamonds and other precious stones Beauty products and hairstyling Original and limited- edition art, artifacts, and instructional classes Photography studios
