Hometown Strathroy June 2025

Cruisers Revving Their Engines at Hometown Festival On June 13, the Strathroy Cruisers Car Club will host their an- nual car show at the Strathroy Hometown Festival. They have been tradition at the festival since its inception. More than 200 vintage cars will be on display, starting at the corner of Frank and Front Streets, from 2 pm until 8:30 pm. The Strathroy-Caradoc Cruisers Car Club was established in 1999 by a handful of local classic car owners looking for a way to get together. They’ve been meeting ever since, sharing their love of cars and building friendships that have lasted a lifetime. The Cruisers also love to support local charities through donations and 50/50 draws at their shows. This year, the charities they are supporting include the Strathroy Hospice Building Campaign, Mount Brydges Caring Cupboard, Youth Centre, Women’s Rural Resource Centre, Middlesex Com - munity Living, Southwestern Middlesex Health Centre and the Salvation Army. The Cruisers have moved to monthly meetings this year and a new location. Come out to Kahunas Kones at 23752 Adelaide Road in Mount Brydges on the second Wednesday of the month from May to September and see the cool cars, enjoy good food, and meet car enthusiasts from all around. The show runs from 5 pm to dusk and are free to attend. For more information, contact Mary Wright at 548-888-4364. Photo courtesy of Mary Wright
