The Systems Analyst and Project Manager is responsible for managing, supporting applications, evaluating processes, and training users. The incumbent is also responsible for planning, implementing projects, developing project plans, coordinating resources and dealingwith extrenal consultants throughout projects. The candidate must be independently motivated, show initiative, creativity and be autonomous during daily tasks, as well as be an effective communicator with his/ her peers.The position requires on call rotationwithMIS staff and the candidatemay be required to work outside normal hours for emergency situations or special projects. REQUIREMENTS • College Diploma in Computer Sciences or Development; • Three (3) years experience working in healthcare, supporting and managing applications; • Experience in project systems management; • Ability to learn, research, and train users on new technologies; • Ability to work in both official languages; • Excellent documentation (policies & procedures) and presentation skills • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision; • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle to provide services at multiple sites. • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle to provide services at multiple sites.
Operating in a manner consistent with HGH’s mission, vision and values, the Buyer, under the supervision of the Material Management Director, sees to the entire process of solicitation and the preparation and negotiation of contracts for supplies, equipment, services and other products. The incumbent acts as a resource person for customers in collecting and providing the information necessary to process bids or contracts for the Hospital. The Buyer will also be asked to prepare request for proposals with the customer and to initiate the process from beginning to end. He or she will communicate, meet and build partnerships with vendors andmay have to place orders for goods or services in accordance with the policies and procedures. REQUIREMENTS • Three-year Community College Diploma in Purchasing Management or equivalent. • Two years of experience in Purchasing Management, Procurement, Negotiation or equivalent field. • Completion of at least four (4) PMAC courses; certification preferred. • Fluently bilingual: excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both official languages.
