What Makes a Good Specialty Group Meeting

What Makes a Good Specialty Group Meeting?  Starts on time and ends on time  Everyone in attendance and not on their phones  Follows the agenda and EOS format with minimal tangents

 Members list items on their scorecards that lead to discussions in the meeting  Rocks - All members of a Specialty Group should have at least one Rock and are consistently working to achieve these Rocks. Ideas for potential Rocks: o Establishing a list of top clients for the Specialty Group and setting goals to contact them. o Updating of the website for the Specialty Group o Market Report for the Specialty Group o Specific goal of new contacts to make over the next 90 days o Specific areas/segments for focus of growth over the next 90 days o Involvement with industry organizations that will lead to growth of your business. o Improve/build CRM or property database  To-Do List - Multiple people (not just staff) should have items on the To -Do List each week. Each To - Do should be completed by next following week. These can include: making a specific contact, providing information to staff to move forward initiatives, items to push Rocks forward , etc.  Issues - We should always have Issues to discuss. These can be related to Rocks, marketing initiatives to review, other items related to growing your business. o Marketing material created for the Specialty Group o Specific goals on new listings over the next 90 days

The intent of the Specialty Groups is to grow your individual business. It is your business, what can we do to help grow it?

The goal is to rank every meeting a “10”. You should only rank the meeting an 8 or higher if that hour was an excellent use of your time and will lead to growth in your business. If not, rank it lower and help determine ways to improve the meetings.
