It must be remembered that the re quired units of Bible and doctrine for this new course of study are the same as those required in the other courses at the Bible Institute of Los Angeles. The number of such required units has been set by the Accrediting As sociation o f Bible Institutes and Bible Colleges, of which the Bible Institute of Los Angeles is an accredited member. It must be emphasized, yet again, that Biola is in no way departing from the great fundamental purposes for which it came into existence. The Word of God is taught here with a zeal and a knowledge that is both re freshing and enlightening. The young people are constantly urged, both by precept and example, to be out busily engaged in the Lord’s service. The missionary challenge is constantly be ing presented to the students, and the whole atmosphere is conducive to the spiritual growth of all who are in any way connected with the school. The Institute is merely endeavor ing to give its students proper tools with which to meet today’s needs. That is the only reason for the ex pansion of the Bible Institute curricu lum during recent years. More than eight hundred young people are at present enrolled and preparing for the Lord’s service wherever He may lead. Please continue to pray that His will may be done and that He may have the pre-eminence in all things.

The God of Gods Provides the Message Phil. 2:16 If we would convey God’s thoughts to the people, then we must use God’s words. Our Lord has all the words in the world at His command and He used the right ones to convey His mind. It should be noted that every false doctrine is based on the use of words and phrases not found in the Bible. Bible language does not con found nor confuse the soul. The Lord has spoken clearly and we must use His words in order to make known His thoughts and will. Our Community is the Field Mark 16:15 When our Lord said the “ field is the world” He meant just that very thing. We should not give ourselves to the Lord for any certain part of the field but we should give ourselves to the Lord for His use anywhere. When He makes it clear that He wants us in a certain field, then we should set about earnestly to learn the lan guage and customs o f those people. Let the Holy Spirit select the field of service.
