Dear Students, Fall is my favorite time of year. I love it because of back-to-schools, football, any most noticeably, cooler weather. The change in seasons marked by the changing colors of the leaves, the brisk mornings and the cooler nights have always made me smile and feel a sense of comfort. There is a sense of relief from the hot summer sun and the anticipation of snow and the upcoming holiday season. Seasons also remind me that there is a regularity and predictability in our world. There may be days when the hot summer sun is cooled by rainstorms. There are brisk fall days when we have to remove our jackets because of the sun in the middle of the day. But we can always count on the pattern of winter, spring, summer, and fall. I challenge you to look for other patterns in our life. Also think, how do patterns, consistency and predictability help define our work and our relationships.
