• Florida recently received a AAA credit rating from Fitch Ratings, beating out California, New York and others for their strong economic footing and outlook. • The State of Florida’s General Revenue Fund collections have continued to exceed expectations, in part because the previously expected recession failed to materialize during the 2022-23 fiscal year. • The state’s gross domestic product (GDP), the value of all the goods and services produced, has increased by 3.5 percent since the fourth quarter of 2022.
