collaboration around California dairy sustainability. By highlighting farmers’ ongoing environmental stewardship and supporting the California Dairy Quality Assurance Program (CDQAP), it helps ensure consistent, science-based messaging that reflects the industry’s leadership in planet-smart, responsible practices. PROJECT GOALS: • Increase public and stakeholder awareness of California dairy farmers’ sustainability achievements. • Build stronger partnerships among farmers, researchers, agencies, and industry organizations. • Expand Dairy Cares’ communication and outreach capacity, promoting coordinated environmental and animal-care messaging. • Provide measurable tools and outreach materials to demonstrate progress and accountability in sustainable dairy farming. • Support CDRF’s role in representing dairy producers and advancing statewide sustainability goals. Dairy Cares receives contributions from industry stakeholders for environmental and animal-care communications; CDRF contributes on behalf of California dairy producers. CO- FUNDED
